The Federal Reserve’s easy money policy is unprecedented and is causing inflation. Going back to 1980, the money supply has grown steadily and consistently until recently. Over the past few months, the money supply has exploded higher. We are seeing inflation in commodities like lumber and natural gas. This is a time to have inflation protection in your portfolio.
