Jimmy joined THOR in December of 2012. Prior to THOR, Jimmy worked part-time during college as an intern at Scottrade and later as a MBA student he worked as a financial analyst at a small wealth management firm in Dayton, Ohio. At THOR, he is a member of the Investment Committee. As a member of the Investment Committee, he performs investment research on both equity and fixed income products to help construct diversified portfolios for clients. Jimmy also meets with and assists clients with financial and retirement planning needs, estate planning, and tax planning issues. As a result of his passion and drive for investments, Jimmy successfully completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
Jimmy attended the University of Dayton where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in both Accounting and Finance. In addition to his two B.S. degrees, Jimmy has earned his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance. Jimmy’s first job came at the age of 10 delivering papers after school for a local newspaper. At 15, he started working in the pro-shop at a local golf course. During the summer of his sophomore year, Jimmy caddied at Muirfield Village Golf Club (Jack Nicklaus’s golf course) in Columbus, Ohio. During all four years of college, Jimmy worked as a study area monitor where he was responsible for closing operations and securing IT equipment.
