About
Rob Nicolls joined THOR in August 2023 as a Financial Planning Intern while finishing his degree at the University of Cincinnati. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning, he began working full-time as a Financial Planner in May 2025. Rob became interested in financial planning when an extended family member earned the CFP® designation. As he learned about the day-to-day operations of a wealth management firm, he discovered a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals. At THOR, Rob serves on the Client Experience Committee.
Originally from Tiffin, Ohio, Rob grew up in West Chester, Ohio. He attended Bishop Fenwick High School, where he played varsity football and baseball. Rob has four sisters ranging in age from 6 to 26. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hunting, fishing, and playing recreational sports such as golf and softball.
